Nothing like walking out to your car and finding it got hit, no note! I was at work and walked out to my car to get my wallet—through the passenger door—and it didn't open more than a couple inches. Took me no time at all to notice that the front fender was dented throughout, plus scratches and missing paint to pack.
On the less absolutely-shitty side, the nose and door panels and the wheel & alignment are all untouched, which is really lucky considering the nature of this incident.
So now my fucking passenger door won't open, that's 50% of all my doors, wtf. I could probably force it open, but what I don't desire is to damage the perfectly fine door panel.
Not the worst thing that could have happened but totally not the best thing either. For example, some retarded fucking dicklick could learn to drive or at least learn to assume responsibility for their faults, that would be a cool thing to take place here on earth.
I'll probably post a picture tomorrow or some shit, fuck all y'all

Did you file a police report?

No, because there's currently zero leads (not even paint on my fender from the attacking car).
... however, my work does have internal video surveillance and one of the cameras is focused on the front door, through which you can see a small portion of the parking space next to my car, on the side it got hit. I left a note for my boss to look through the tapes around the time I deduced the incident occurred. That would be awesome if I could get some plates or at least vehicle ID

You deliver pizzas, right? If you don't have commercial insurance don't mention that on the police report if you want to file one. If your insurance sees it they can drop and sue you because you're not supposed to deliver pizzas with regular coverage. Happened to a guy at another location and he doesn't drive anymore because he can't afford insurance. Just a heads-up.

You're kidding me—you're not supposed to deliver on regular insurance?? Even though the company knows everything about my insurance?

You're not supposed to but everyone does because it's too damn expensive (I think the minimum business policy is like $1000/year). Regardless, it's technically insurance fraud:

That's why I always have a regular T-shirt in my seat pocket while I'm working that I can quickly put on and pretend like I was just driving around. I also emptied my spare tire space in my trunk so I could hide the delivery bag.
Whatever restaurant you work for has that info to protect themselves: say you get into an accident, if you don't have insurance the person you hit would come after them. They're just covering their own asses while leaving you out to dry. Sorry if this is news to you, man, I'm kind of surprised none of your co-workers brought it up while you were working.

Yeah it's never been brought to my attention... a big thank you to you for pointing that out, I'll be wary.

If you're planning on filing an insurance claim then you should file a police report.

No problem, just trying to keep a shitty situation from getting even worse. If I were you I'd tell the insurance people you wash dishes or something.

My company insists on hire cars and company cars only on transporting staff between sites due to insurance issues. It's standard in many places for normal insurance to cover social, domestic and commuting uses only. However, if it was just parked outside your workplace and had been sat there for several hours, then it's fairly safe to say you only used the car to get to work.

My old Focus is so dinged and rickety if someone bumped it I probably wouldn't notice anyway...
